Set in South Carolina in 1944, "Hosey" is the story of a boy working odd jobs on mill hill and the old loom fixer who takes him under his wing.
Mickey Burriss dreamed of being a writer during high school English. Life delayed but never ended that dream. After his Naval service, he earned a business degree from the University of South Carolina and served three terms in the South Carolina House of Representatives. He is a member of the South Carolina Writers Workshop.
